Hello, may I ask how this journal is charged? Is the final page count based on the PDF generated from your submission?

A very good submission experience. Submitted in early November and immediately sent for review; received first round of comments in early December, the reviewer was very nice and gave high praise, but also raised many questions (including a radical revision to a certain innovative point); revised and resubmitted by the end of December; received second round of comments at the end of January, with some minor issues raised; revised again in mid-February; accepted in mid-March. The review process was very fast, with two rounds of review completed in about 4-5 months. Reviews were roughly one month per round, and the editorial process did not linger for more than 2 days. The publication fee was slightly expensive, but compared to APJ, it was not considered high, although it was much higher than MNRAS.

A very pleasant submission experience. The handling of the manuscript was very efficient, although there was a period of time when the reviewers could not be found after receiving the manuscript twice. After contacting the editor via email, a prompt response was received, and the manuscript was sent for review. The review process was quick, taking only about 1-1.5 months from submission to receiving the review comments. The reviewers were very professional, raising many questions and providing valuable suggestions for improvement. After one major revision and one minor revision, the manuscript was accepted.

Overall, my submission experience to A&A was favorable. However, the reviewers provided so many comments, many of which were quite critical and demanding. The editor also made several comments and critiques of our study. In my opinion, this journal is more difficult to publish in than your average SCI journal. However, it is a top-tier journal; thus, I recommend that all scholars submit.
